Your Weekly Tarot Card Reading Has Good News for Gemini Season!

Must read

You don’t need to know the difference between a three-card and a Celtic cross spread to get the most out of a tarot card reading. All you need: your Sun sign! Here’s what I do: Shuffle my tarot deck and pull out the cards in order from Aries to Pisces, plus one general card for everyone so that you can get specific advice around your personality. Let’s go!

A GENERAL CARD FOR EVERYONE: KNIGHT OF WANDS

Margie Rischiotto+Rider-Waite

Gemini season has landed (my favorite, being a Gemini myself), and although Wands suit traditionally relates to fire signs, I think the Knight of Wands is a lot like Gemini! He’s adventurous, creative, wild, and loves to party. This tarot card is a great omen for the week ahead, encouraging us all to get out there, see the world, and break free of routine. Life is full of chances and opportunities. Prime yourself to notice them and seize the moment. Be spontaneous, free-spirited, and open-minded.

ARIES: KNIGHT OF SWORDS

Don’t let them tell you it won’t work, Aries. You know what you’re doing, and yo uknow that it’s worth it. This week, it’s time to back yourself up. Fight back and even assert yourself if necessary. Not every ride will be smooth and not every door will open the first time you try. Be prepared to be persistent. The Knight of Swords will bring you the power.

TAURUS: FIVE OF WANDS

If you get negative reactions, don’t meet fire with fire. Let the flames fade and look for the root cause. Be the bigger person and seek a resolution, even if it means walking away. The Five of Wands reveals that the greatest lessons and insights come from understanding what’s gone wrong. Don’t shy away from this or cover it up. Dive in and find a solution. You will (weirdly) enjoy it.

GEMINI: THE DEVIL

So, here we are. Day one of Gemini season, and the Devil has already entered your realm! Pace yourself, Gem, because you’ve got a few more weeks of this. The Devil can be a nudge to resist temptations and paths of least resistance (if you can’t stand the consequences) but it can also be permission to live wild, free, and on the edge (as long as you can take the consequences). You’re here to experience everything!

CANCER: SEVEN OF SWORDS

Protect yourself and those you care about, Cancer, because there are shadowy forces at work this week. They’re not permanent; they’re just passing by, looking for the vulnerable people to prey upon. You may already know exactly who I am referring to, in which case just keep your distance. You have such a big heart and you can attract those who enjoy being mean, spiteful, or underhanded. They don’t present themselves that way, but your powerful intuition can sense the negativity. Heed your gut instincts. Be cautious.

LEO: THE WORLD

the world tarot card

Margie Rischiotto+Rider-Waite

If you were thinking of booking a vacation, then the World is a great omen to go ahead and do just that. This trip could bring more than just happy memories and a tan! The World is also a great symbol of achievement, representing reaching the pinnacle of an ambition. Maybe you’re starting to see the end of a project or a long-term goal is in sight. Celebrate that, but remember that every ending is the embryo of a new beginning and start thinking about what you’d like to tackle next.

VIRGO: TEMPERANCE

Are there are areas in your life that feel a little extreme, or like they’re too far outside your comfort zone? Temperance is a nudge to ground yourself in reality, truth, moderation, and balance. Come back to the middle ground. You can always wander further when needed. Security and stability keep you feeling level and help you function at your best. Grounding is this week’s key theme.

LIBRA: TWO OF WANDS

Margie Rischiotto+Rider-Waite

You are a famous procrastinator. You can go back-and-forth for years on decisions that others would make in a heartbeat. Part of this process is a tendency to overload your mental “plate,” so you simply have too many things going on at one time. The Two of Wands suggests this has been happening recently, and you need to refocus. Get your priorities listed, pressure-tested, and organized. Know your to-do list. Focus on the most important tasks, and let the others slide. You need to streamline your schedule.

SCORPIO: FOUR OF CUPS

Margie Rischiotto+Rider-Waite

The Four of Cups shows up when you’re feeling bored and listless. You thrive on high-octane energy, so this phase is very frustrating. How do you get out of it? Scorpio, force yourself to do something that gets your blood pumping this week, even if it feels too obvious—like going to a theme park or taking a spin class. Remember how you enjoy feeling, intentionally trigger that sensation, and then you will naturally start to seek out more of it. You are not lost; this is just a mood. It will pass. Get back to being all-in and full-on.

SAGITTARIUS: SIX OF PENTACLES

Margie Rischiotto+Rider-Waite

Your ruling planet is Jupiter, which makes you abundant, lucky, and kind. You enjoy giving and being generous, and you get a kick out of making others happy. This is why Sags are so popular. The Six of Pentacles promotes this attitude this week, so go out and do random kindnesses, help out, give compliments, notice who needs support and offer, and join in with community. Doing good really does feel good, so it’s a win/win.

CAPRICORN: NINE OF SWORDS

Margie Rischiotto+Rider-Waite

Nobody really knows how sensitive you are. Your stoic and resolute exterior hides your soft, hopeful, loving interior self. The Nine of Swords shows that your inner world has been rocked recently, probably by a worry that isn’t really valid but you’ve blown out of proportion. Cap, I see you. I advise you to release this darkness. Journal about it or confide in someone. Let it all out so you can look at it in the cold light of day and realize it’s all about nothing. You are being tortured by a phantom. Let it go.

AQUARIUS: THE CHARIOT

the chariot tarot card

Margie Rischiotto+Rider-Waite

The Chariot is a wonderful omen for Gemini season because it suggests travel, movement, exploration, and adventure. You love getting out there and seeing the world, so what’s stopping you? The only caveat is that the Chariot demands there is purpose to your roaming. What do you want to do, and where does this mean you need to go? Make your journey count towards the bigger picture. Think about location in terms of ambition. Be mindful in your travels.

PISCES: THE WHEEL OF FORTUNE

Margie Rischiotto+Rider-Waite

Gemini season is often unpredictable and the Wheel of Fortune brings a dose of that into your world this week. Expect the unexpected! You are a mutable sign, so change doesn’t really bother you too much, but transformation makes everyone a little uncomfortable. Seek control and certainty by being the one who instigates the changes. Take hold of that wheel and push it in the direction you want it to go. Influence your fortunes. Design your destiny. Manifest! You can write your own fate this week.
