How many steps are there to the house? Did Gwyneth et al take the stairs? Wait, are you wearing heels?!

You’ll need a boat, flat shoes and SPF 50 to get here. There are 99 steps from the water’s edge to the house, and, yes, ofc Gwyneth et al took the stairs (a walk in the park for the Goop goddess!) My own floor-skimming navy dress – look 11 from Jacquemus’s spring/summer 24 collection – demanded heels, but naturally I stashed a pair of ballet flats in my basket for the hike. Rule one of being a Vogue editor: when on assignment, always comes prepared.

What was Dua wearing? I love her look

Me too. Dua Lipa was the last guest to arrive and made an entrance in an aqua blue suede dress, a preview of the autumn/winter 2024 anniversary collection revealed on the runway in Capri. Pop superstardom looks excellent on her, doesn’t it?

I want to know everything about Jennie Kim’s first runway appearance!

As we took our seats for the show, there was someone missing. Where’s Jennie? I asked my seat mate. “Maybe she’s in the show,” he said with a wink. Yes, Simon Porte Jacquemus’s BFF Jennie closed the show in an elegant black halter dress, zebra mules and a swish, side-parted bun that belongs on everyone’s summer moodboard (note the silver barrette). Her walk: 10/10. Slow, graceful, shoulders back. Perfection.
