Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 reportedly heading to Game Pass this month
We’re yet to see Microsoft announce the second batch of games for July, but according to a report from InsiderGaming, the company could add its first Activision game to the service since acquiring Activision Blizzard last year. Sledgehammer Games’ Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 is reportedly joining Xbox Game Pass later this month, and InsiderGaming suggests the announcement could arrive as soon as today.
The announcement was apparently planned to roll out with the recent Xbox Game Pass news, which introduces a host of changes to Game Pass and increases its price.
Since its acquisition of Activision Blizzard, we’ve only seen Diablo 4 join Xbox Game Pass, but recent reports suggest that could soon change. Earlier this month, rumors suggested that Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy could join Xbox Game Pass in August, while Spyro Reignited Trilogy and Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1+2 are reportedly joining the service “very soon.”
In other Xbox Game Pass news, Deck13 Interactive’s action-RPG Atlas Fallen will reportedly join the service soon.
