Eudy performed in WWE, WCW, ECW and other independent wrestling promotions. He held the then-WWF Championship twice and was also a two-time WCW World Heavyweight Champion. He headlined multiple pay-per-views, including WrestleMania VIII in 1992 and WrestleMania 13 in 1997 as well as Starrcade in 2000.

Two-time WWE Hall of Famer Booker T was among those to express their condolences on social media after learning of Eudy’s passing:

Eudy won the WWF Championship for the first time at the 1996 Survivor Series pay-per-view, defeating Shawn Michaels. He dropped the title a few months later in a match against Michaels at the 1997 Royal Rumble, but he regained it when he defeated Bret Hart on a February 1997 episode of Monday Night Raw.

After joining WCW for the third time in his career in 1999, Eudy won the World Heavyweight Championship a year later after defeating Kevin Nash on an episode of Monday Nitro. After being stripped of the title, he defeated Nash once again to win the title for a second time.

Eudy suffered a career-threatening leg injury in 2001, which forced him to consider retiring. However, he recovered and began performing on the independent circuit in 2004. He made his first appearances in WWE since 1997 in 2012, including on the 1,000th episode of Monday Night Raw. He wrestled his final match for an independent promotion in 2017.

Eudy had been married to Sabrina Paige since 1983. The couple had two sons, Frank and Gunnar.
