Wizz Air is to operate direct flights from Gatwick to the Saudi Arabian Red Sea city of Jeddah next March.
Daily flights will start on 31 March 2025, when Wizz Air will base its new Airbus A321XLR at Gatwick for the first time.
Ticket are now on sale and start from £134.99 one way.
Wizz Air began operating from Gatwick in 2020 and now serves 26 destinations in 17 countries from the airport.
Wizz Air CEO József Váradi said: “We are excited to offer unbeatable fares to our customers on the new route from London Gatwick to Jeddah. Since establishing our base at London Gatwick in 2020, we have demonstrated ambitious growth, making it a natural, strategic decision to operate our first Airbus A321XLR from this airport.”
