Prince William has stepped out in public for the first time since coming face-to-face with Prince Harry for the first time in over a year.

The Prince of Wales and the Duke of Sussex were in the same room last week for their uncle’s funeral, however, the feuding brothers did not speak.

William is visiting the Saatchi Gallery in London in his first public appearance since he returned from his summer trip to Balmoral.

The prince can be seen sporting a beard in the pictures from his public appearance today.

William and Prince Harry had a feud in the build-up to the Duke of Sussex’s wedding over the latter’s unwillingness to shave his beard off.

And now having seen Harry for the first time in 2024 it seems William has taken a leaf out of his brother’s book by also growing out his facial hair.

The Duke of Sussex and the Prince of Wales have not spoken since Harry’s autobiography was released in January 2023.

Harry’s memoir contained private details regarding several arguments he had with his elder brother including the one regarding his beard.

Prince William’s Homewards programme has partnered with Eleven Eleven Foundation and Saatchi Gallery to launch a groundbreaking exhibition which seeks to utilise the power of art to enhance the UK’s understanding of homelessness and ignite hope that it can be ended.

The Prince of Wales founded Homewards in June 2023 as part of his mission to end homelessness and change the narrative and stereotypes around the crisis.

The ‘Homelessness: Reframed’ exhibition opened at Saatchi Gallery on Wednesday, August 7 and will run until Friday, September 20.

Kensington Palace stated the prince wanted the project to generate new imagery around homelessness and showcase the multiple layers of the crisis including feelings of hope.

Pim Gregory, Executive Director of Homelessness at The Royal Foundation, outlined that the project is spotlighting the many forms of homelessness across the UK.

The Royal Foundation reached out to artists with lived experiences of homelessness who created art for the exhibition that reflected their own and others’ experiences of the crisis.

Stories of hope and opportunity feature in the gallery to show what the right support at the right time can do.
