Where the fashion set will be hanging out in Europe this summer

Must read

With not one, not two, but three new openings in the South of France, Simon Porte Jacquemus has been busy putting his designer touch to interiors. Last summer, the Indie Beach restaurant was transformed by the French fashion house in sunny yellow stripes for the first takeover and, this year, it’s all about green. Set up a spot on the sun loungers and watch the waves as you try the surf, turf and sangria on the menu. Or, head inside the beach restaurant, where you’ll find a mini Jacquemus pop-up shop showcasing the latest collection. If you’re in the mood for more shopping, there’s also a new boutique by the French designer in Place des Lices, down the road from the Dior café. Here, you can discover the SS24 ‘Les Sculptures’ Jacquemus drop, from dopamine-drenched beachwear to the exclusive Le Tote Marcel canvas bag in Saint-Tropez-inspired bold stripes (yes, there’s a theme). And if a spot of shopping has worked up your appetite, visit La Renaissance Brasserie to try out the new Mediterranean menu designed by Ella Afalo. Updated weekly, expect to find dishes including sea bream carpaccio, artichoke salads and mouth-watering citrus desserts to complete the designer-approved experience.
