Wayne Rooney is joined by sons Kai, 15, and Kit, 8, as he makes a last minute plea for fans to vote for his ‘queen’ Coleen ahead of I’m A Celeb final

Wayne Rooney continued to shower his ‘Queen’ Coleen with support as he shared a sweet clip with his two sons to urge their fans to vote for his wife ahead of the I’m A Celebrity final.

The footballer manager, 39, beamed with pride as he shared a clip to Instagram alongside two of his four children, Kai, 15, and Kit, eight.

Coleen and Wayne also share two other boys, Klay, 11, and Cass, six.

They shared a sweet clip in support of WAG Coleen, 38, saying that no matter the result, she will always be their queen.

Kai said: ‘Hi mum, excited to watch tonight. You’ve shown everyone who you really are and you’ve done us all proud and we all love you so much.’

Wayne then added: ‘Hi Col, we just want to wish you all the best in the final tonight, we’ve all been so proud of you. You’ve shown everyone who you really are and your character.

‘So everyone who watches this video please go and vote for Coleen, one last push to try and get her to come home as Queen of the Jungle.

‘No matter what you’ll be our queen, no matter what happens we’re all really excited to see you. All the best, we love you.’ 

And this is not the first time Wayne has shown full support for his wife as he previously sent an emotional message to his wife Coleen during the letters from home segment of I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!

He said he’s never missed her so much in his life as she spends weeks in Australia away from him.

During the tear-jerking episode Coleen got a message from Wayne, and all four kids read out by Radio 1 DJ Dean McCullough.

One of the children said: ‘One thing I’m not missing is you shouting at me to get up in the morning, we might need to work on that!’ adding ‘I’m so proud to call you my mum.’

Wayne then said: ‘Coleen, I have never missed you so much in my life. 

‘You’re doing amazing and showing everyone your character of what a wonderful, humble woman you are. I’m so proud of you, and can’t wait to see you. I love you ten, Wayne.’

The episode  saw the stars trying to win their letters from home by guessing special words and phrases from their loved ones.

Coleen successfully won with her guess after Wayne had chosen ‘petrol station’, explaining its significance to her campmates was because it was where he had proposed to her.

She later opened up on the moment, explaining how Wayne has surprised her after she had changed her mind about going to a restaurant.

She said: ‘I knew it was gonna happen but I definitely didn’t know it was gonna be in a petrol station, but I’m glad we didn’t do it in a restaurant to be honest with you.’

And revealing the extravagant and romantic way the couple had celebrated their engagement, Coleen added: ‘We were only young, so we went back and had corned beef hash instead!’

The mother-of-four previously recalled how Wayne had proposed in her autobiography My Account: The Official Autobiography, released in November last year.

She explained how they had been heading to a Chinese restaurant, where the England player had planned to get down on one knee, but had begun bickering.

She wrote: ‘I can’t even remember what now, but whatever it was must have put me in a bit of a mood.

‘As we pulled in at a petrol station, I folded my arms and sighed. ‘Do you know? I don’t really feel like going for something to eat now.’

”No neither do I,’ Wayne said, turning off the car engine. ‘Only, the thing is, while we were there, I was going to do this…’

‘Before I knew it, I had an emerald-cut diamond ring on my finger, and I rang mum mum and dad to tell them our big news. Little did I know, he’d already asked my dad’s permission, so they knew it was coming.’

Acknowledging that it had not been ‘the most romantic of proposals’, Coleen admitted: ‘It’s not the image a girl conjures up when she thinks about a marriage proposal, as a rule.’

It comes after Coleen opened up on how she still gets branded a ‘WAG’, as she offered rare insight into her home life.

Wayne and Coleen have four sons together. The couple exchanged vows in Portofino, Italy, in June 2008.

The pair, who were both 22 at the time, spared no expense when it came to their wedding, with their incredible day believed to have cost a cool £5m.

Coleen will battle it out against Danny Jones and Richard Coles on Sunday to be crowned the new King or Queen of the jungle after Sam Thompson secured his royal place last year.
