TOMMY Fury was pelted with questions about cheating on Molly-Mae Hague in his first TV interview since their split.
The shamed boxer, 25, and Molly-Mae split in August after five years together, and share a daughter.
Influencer Molly-Mae dumped her fiancé hours after he returned home from a holiday to North Macedonia where he met a Danish woman on his lads’ holiday.
Tommy today appeared on ITV show This Morning to discuss his new book, Lightening Strikes Twice, and was faced with the accusations he had been unfaithful to his Love Island star ex.
Presenter Ben Shephard didn’t let Tommy off the hook and fired out a number of stinging questions, asking Tommy: “It has been a turbulent few months for you, Tommy.
“How are you feeling after everything you have been through in the summer?”
Tommy remained calm on the sofa opposite Ben and his This Morning co-host Cat Deeley, and said: “I’m feeling OK. I’m feeling good.”
But he admitted: “It doesn’t take a genius to figure out it has been hard for me and it has been very hard times.
“At the end of the day I have been knuckling down so training, taking me daughter to ballet, swimming, and whatever else. So I’ve been keeping myself busy.
“And of course the book, you know, I’m very excited to launch that today. It’s going to be an amazing day.”
Ben pointed out that his relationship with Maebe founder Molly-Mae “has been very public”.
He said: “It has been built around social media, the brand is your social media, so of course anything that goes wrong is going to be played out on social media.
“How do you deal with those critics because Molly-Mae put a statement out about the relationship, about the fact the relationship had ended, and (they) immediately jumped to the conclusion that you had done something wrong?”
Tommy replied: “Yeah, no of course. I mean there have been a lot of critics out there and there will be critics out there until the day I die.
“Everyone will jump on the bandwagon when there’s a bandwagon to jump on.
“But at the end of the day, you know, out of respect for Molly and out of respect for myself and our relationship, I’m going to let us deal with that in private as much as we can.
“I’m just happy to be here today to talk about me book, and I want to leave all that stuff to me and Molly. We owe the respect to ourselves to do that.”
TAKING JABS
Ben pressed Tommy for more answers, noting: “You did add an extra chapter, and there is one accusation you have addressed and there is this accusation that you cheated on Molly.”
“Yeah. Like I said I’m going to leave that for me and Molly to work through,” Tommy said.
“At the end of the day a lot of that stuff has been put out there.
