Walkers apologised to a fan as it said “it wasn’t as popular as we’d hoped”
Walkers crisps has said it is “sorry” as a snack has been pulled from sale.
The UK food manufacturer, which makes Wotsits and Monster Munch, as well as its namesake crisps, has been making savoury snacks since 1948. Like many major brands, Walkers regularly introduces new flavours and ranges, and back in 2018, it did just that.
As part of its Sensations variety, Walkers added a nuts-based Streetmix lineup. It was said to “take inspiration from the street food scene of vibrant cities from around the world”.

The snacks came in three varieties: Mexico City, which was tortilla sticks, Mexican-style nuts, beans, and chilli crackers; Mumbai, Indian-style crackers, curried nuts, black pepper rice sticks and spiced onion nuts; and Bangkok; sweet chilli crackers, coconut flakes, cashews and pea snaps.
At the time of introduction, Walkers Sensations brand manager Tegan Philp-Hines said “We are very excited about the potential of this range”.
But Walkers has now confirmed they have been discontinued as “they were not as popular as we’d hoped”. The move comes after the major brand axed its Worcestershire Sauce flavour crisps back in November.
