Ukraine manager Serhiy Rebrov is hopeful that Everton left-back Vitalii Mykolenko has avoided serious injury after he was substituted against Moldova.

The 25-year-old was taken off because of a suspected ankle injury 30 minutes into the 4-0 friendly victory away to Moldova on Tuesday evening.

Mykolenko required medical treatment in the 26th minute but attempted to continue. However, with his first touch returning to the field, he fell back down to the ground.
