Stop right now, thank you very much — Victoria Beckham, formerly known as “Posh Spice,” says that any changes to her face that fans have noticed are due to “clever contouring,” not cosmetic surgery.
On the Monday, December 16 episode of The Today Show, the 50-year-old fashion and beauty mogul was promoting her makeup line when she revealed that “a lot” of people thought she’d had plastic surgery on her nose. “I have to say, there’s been a lot of people in the past that have said to me that I’ve had some kind of surgery on my nose. I have never, ever, ever, ever … No, never. It’s clever contouring.”

The designer, who is married to retired soccer star David Beckham, said that she “like[s] to draw,” which is how she is able to create complex contouring effects on her face. In fact, in an Instagram video on January 13, 2023, Beckham shared her contouring technique and explained in the caption, “I wanted a contour product that felt like a pen, so I could simply draw and blend, it is so easy to use. […] I use the @VictoriaBeckhamBeauty CONTOUR STYLUS in Sandstone to contour around my nose, cheekbones, forehead, around my eyes and finally to sharpen up that jawline!”
Indeed, altering the appearance of her nose seemed to be Beckham’s priority in the video. “I always start by slimming down my nose,” she explained. “So I’m literally going to draw two lines down either side of my nose to really shade down the sides. What this is going to do, is when I blend it with my nose or my fingers, it’s going to give the illusion of a longer, straighter nose.”
Beckham recently received the Harper’s Bazaar Woman of the Year Award for her achievements with her fashion and beauty line.
