She’s the matriarch of one of Britain’s most famous families.
And Victoria Beckham came face to face with one of America’s most notable ménages as she appeared in The Kardashians on Thursday.
The season five premiere documented the Kardashian clan’s trip to Paris for Fashion Week, where they had been invited to Victoria Beckham’s runway show.
Victoria, 50, has known the family since 2019 and enlisted model Kendall Jenner to close her show.
Yet disaster struck when Kim Kardashian, mother Kris Jenner and partner Corey Gamble got stuck in traffic on their way to the show, resulting in them being 20 minutes late.
The faux pas didn’t go down well with longtime Vogue Editor in Chief, Anna Wintour, who was sitting next to Victoria’s husband David Beckham.
Yet once the show kicked off, everyone was able to settle down, with Kendall closing out the show in a black suit and boxy black glasses.
While her family somehow didn’t recognise her striding past them, Victoria was clearly pleased with Kendall.
Seemingly taking no issue with the Kardashians holding up her show, she rushed to greet them after the runway presentation and said of Kendall: ‘she closed, she was the last one, she was the final girl.’
A producer then told Kim in confession: ‘I feel like you should get a big pair of glasses,’ as Kim agreed: ‘I should, I need them.’
Victoria continued: ‘She is so sweet and kind to everyone,’ with Kim responding: ‘She’s the best.’
Kim added in confession: ‘I came to support Victoria, I came to support Kendall, I love seeing my mum…’
She then posed for snaps with Victoria, with all the drama of her late arrival put firmly behind them.
Kim has long been a fan of Victoria’s, having grown up admiring The Spice Girls and claimed on the last season of Kardashians that she was once asked to fill in for Posh Spice on tour.
She told how bandmate Mel C asked her to help out after recalling how she once performed as Posh for a talent show.
‘They asked me if I would be her part. Mel C asked me,’ Kim told a group of friends while attending a footbal game with their kids in London.
‘Can you imagine? North is like, ‘Do it, mum!’ Kim added.
Kim elaborated on Mel C’s invitation in a confessional, stating: ‘Sporty Spice wrote a book and she signed it inside and she sent it to me.
‘It said they were going on tour and they needed a Posh and would I be the Posh? I am sure she was joking but when I was in high school would I ever have thought that this was like a thing?
‘I am just a girl from high school who loves the Spice Girls and now they are asking me?’
