Vanessa Hudgens confirmed that she welcomed her first child with husband, Cole Tucker, by taking to her Instagram stories on Thursday.
The High School Musical alum, 35 – who was recently seen leaving a hospital with her little bundle of joy on Wednesday – shared a short statement to update her 51.2 million fans and followers.
At one point in her post, the actress typed out to reveal that, ‘mom dad and baby are happy and healthy.’
Vanessa tied the knot with Tucker last year in December 2023 during a romantic ceremony in Tulum, Mexico.
Four months later, Hudgens announced her pregnancy in March of this year while debuting her growing baby bump at the 2024 Academy Awards.

At the time, the star glowed as she strutted on the red carpet in a figure-hugging, black gown with a train that flowed down behind her.
The glamorous ensemble clung to her frame as she happily showed off her growing stomach while adding a sparkling necklace and earrings to complete the look.
Later that same evening, she flaunted her burgeoning bump once again in a one-shoulder, sheer black dress as she made an appearance at the star-studded, Vanity Fair Oscars party.
Earlier this week on Wednesday – shortly before celebrating the Fourth of July – Vanessa was seen cradling her newborn as she left a hospital in Santa Monica.
She was wheeled out of the hospital in a blue wheelchair by Tucker – who also rung in his 28th birthday on the same day – and a female nurse.
Though she appeared to host a gender reveal party in May, the actress has yet to publicly confirm if her child is male or female.
When Vanessa unveiled her substantial baby bump at the Oscars in March, it didn’t take fans by total surprise as it came after months of pregnancy speculation.
Since then, Vanessa has kept fans up to date on her pregnancy by sharing bump snaps on Instagram and stepping out in midriff-baring looks in Los Angeles.

Back in May, she dished to E! News about whether or not she plans to show her future children her extensive film and TV work.
‘I’ll show my kids all my work,’ she confessed. ‘That’s why I chose things along the way in my career.
‘I wanted to make sure that when I did have kids, there would be something for them to watch at every age,’ Vanessa explained.
After two years of dating, the couple got engaged in February 2023. At the time, she jumped to her main Instagram page to give her fans a glimpse of the diamond sparkler on her hand with the Eiffel Tower close by in the distance.
Hudgens first faced pregnancy rumors after posting photos and video from her bachelorette party in October 2023 in Aspen, Colorado.
She admitted on the She Pivots podcast in March that the ‘rude’ pregnancy speculation made her feel ‘fat’ and detracted from what was supposed to be ‘the happiest’ time in her life.
‘I feel like I literally just had a run-in with the public taking control over their opinion of me in a way that was disrespectful,’ the star expressed during the episode.

Ten months later, Vanessa tied the knot with Cole during a lavish wedding in Tulum, Mexico on December 2, 2023.
She told Vogue that seeing Cole at the altar was ‘the most emotional moment of my life.
‘I literally keeled over when I saw Cole and had to take a big breath and had to force myself to keep walking because I could have dropped to the floor,’ she recalled to the outlet.
Around the time she revealed her pregnancy news, Vanessa shared that she was grateful for their breakup as it led to her meeting Cole.
During her March appearance on the She Pivots podcast, she said: ‘I feel my last breakup has really catapulted me to a very, very special place, obviously.
‘You pushed me to the right person,’ she continued, adding that their split is something she is ‘so grateful for.’
She then gushed over her husband and father of her child. ‘He’s just the most supportive, real, understanding human being that I’ve ever met.’
On top of becoming a first-time dad on Wednesday, Cole also celebrated his 28th birthday.
Prior to her relationship with her now-husband, Vanessa had previously been in a long-term relationship with Elvis actor Austin Butler; former couple seen in 2017
