Welcome back golf fans to Saturday at the US Open – traditionally moving day but Pinehurst No.2 is not exactly the kind of course that will be giving up low numbers today, quite the opposite!
The sun is out, these testing greens will get drier and firmer as we go today and this will be a real battle where par is very much your friend.
We’ve got Ludvig Aberg leading and yet again confounding all usual expectations for someone who only turned pro in June last year.
But there are some big names chasing him – former US Open champions Bryson DeChambeau and Rory McIlroy among them.
So sit back and strap in as this will not be for the faint hearted today…
