Ukraine obliterates Russian command post with devastating Storm Shadow strike

Must read

A strike on a key Russian command post in the Kursk region by half a dozen Ukrainian-deployed precision Storm Shadow missiles “killed eight and wounded 22” in a blow to Vladimir Putin.

Footage shows the strike on Lgov targeting a building used by Russian servicemen.

“As a result of the hit, eight servicemen died on the spot, and another 22 were hospitalised,” reported independent ASTRA media. One civilian was also wounded.”

Originally, the strike was believed to have been caused by US-supplied HIMARS missiles.

However, later evidence indicates it was Storm Shadow, the type of missile supplied by Britain to the Ukrainians. France supplies a similar SCALP-EG missile.

Ukrainian journalist Yuriy Butusov said the strike hit the intended target in Lgov ahead of the New Year.

“A fire has started. The guys are all in the bunker; there are a lot of people,” said the commentary on one video.

Kursk’s acting governor, Alexander Khinstein, had reported shelling in Lgov.

Ukraine still holds hundreds of square miles of Putin’s Kursk region despite the use of thousands of North Koreans to seek to dislodge Lviv’s armed forces.
