Two Emmerdale stars have reportedly quit the soap with their final scenes having already been filmed.
Lewis Cope and Brahmdeo Shannon Ramana, who play gay couple Suni Sharma and Nicky Miligan, will leave the village this summer.
The pair have been considering their future in the Yorkshire Dales following ongoing clashes with Nicky’s parents.
And now, it seems that the tension has become too much, after Nicky struggles to deal with the secret that his mother Ruby (Beth Cordingly) killed Ethan Anderson in a purposeful hit-and-run.
Ruby sought out her revenge after Ethan crashed his car while drink-driving and left Nicky, who was a passenger, injured in the woods.

The departure comes just weeks after his death, meaning that three of the soaps gay characters have left during pride month, according to The Sun.
A source told the publication: ‘It’s not going to go unnoticed that three of the village’s gay characters have been written out within a matter of weeks of each other.
‘The optics aren’t good especially when it’s pride month. The fact is decisions are taken months in advance and there are lots of different factors that go into things like this.
‘It’s very unusual for three actors with the same character profile to leave at the same time.’
ITV declined to comment when contacted by MailOnline.
Elsewhere, Sam Hall, 20, who has played Samson Dingle since he was five years-old, has been told his character will be killed off in an explosive upcoming storyline, The Sun has revealed.
It was revealed the cast over on the Dales are set to be ‘totally rocked’ by three devastating storylines that will have viewers on the edge of their seats.
However Sam’s co-stars aren’t happy about the decision, including Sam’s on screen dad James Hooton, and they have rallied around the actor to offer their support.
A TV source told the publication that producers broke the news to Sam earlier this month as he learnt of his character’s fate.

It comes after it was revealed producers have planned three devastating storylines set to air this spring.
Over the coming weeks the ITV soap will see stories unfold involving domestic violence, a heartbreaking cancer diagnosis.
Show producer Laura Shaw also teased an upcoming accident, involving two unnamed families, that would leave one character’s life in jeopardy, and it seems it might be Samson’s.
She said: ‘We’ll see someone in some really serious medical jeopardy – whether they live or die, we’ll have to see. But the ripples and repercussions from that accident will be very long-lasting and life-changing’.
