Spider-Noir
Jack Huston (“Boardwalk Empire,” “Ben-Hur”) will star in a key role as a bodyguard alongside Nicolas Cage, Brendan Gleeson, Lamorne Morris, and Li Jun Li in the live-action Marvel series “Spider-Noir” at MGM+ and Prime Video.

The series tells the story of an aging and down on his luck private investigator (Cage) in 1930s New York, who is forced to grapple with his past life as the city’s one and only superhero. Oren Uziel and Steve Lightfoot serve as showrunners. [Source: Deadline]

The Boys
A new casting call for the fifth and final season of “The Boys” has revealed a new supe named Flyboy is joining the series and will go on to a larger role in the recently-announced “Vought Rising” prequel spin-off.

He’s described as a 20-30s white man who was a charismatic combat pilot, but is now “a junkie with a dark and traumatic past he’s haunted by. Even so, he “maintains his confidence in the presence of cameras.” [Source: Nexus Point News]

Untitled The Office Spin-Off
Melvin Gregg, Chelsea Frei and Ramona Young are set to join Domhnall Gleeson and Sabrina Impacciatore in the ensemble cast of Peacock’s “The Office” spin-off from creators Greg Daniels and Michael Koman.

The mockumentary series is set in the same world as “The Office” and unfolds at a dying historic Midwestern newspaper and the publisher trying to revive it with volunteer reporters. [Source: THR]
