Sources say Noel, 75, signed a £1million deal with ITV after a “frenzied” ten-month bidding war.

A three-parter will see Noel tending vineyards on his 11-hectare River Haven estate.

“For his part, Noel would like the world to know he hasn’t retired, and this chapter of his life is a new adventure.

“There was a feeding frenzy from production companies to secure the rights, and everyone knows this could be a huge comeback for Noel.”

Production firm Potato, behind shows including The Chase and Ninja Warrior, is said to be making the series.

Provisionally entitled Noel’s Haven, it is likely to air late next year.

The Deal or No Deal star, who once said he is accompanied by two melon-sized energy orbs, moved to New Zealand in 2019.
