TRNSMT festival goers have been warned to plan ahead as Glasgow’s last train and subway runs before the festival finishes.
Day three fans should expect travel chaos as ScotRail terminate their Sunday services before the festival finishes. As well, the last Glasgow subway will operate at 6.30pm this evening (July 14).
Several Glasgow services have been impacted by a shortage of train crew after four unions rejected a pay offer last week.

The festival starts at midday before closing late at night each day. However, fans were warned that fewer late night trains would operate ahead of TRNSMT’s first day.
ScotRail communications director David Ross told BBC Scotland: “We do have fewer late-night services than we usually would for TRNSMT so check before you travel and maybe consider alternative means of travel.”
ScotRail issued a warning to fans – posting to X today, July 14, they wrote: “Update for customers travelling from TRNSMT.
“Services terminate before the festival finishes. Please consider alternative arrangements when travelling home from TRNSMT today.”
TRNSMT’s official page also alerted today’s festival goers, writing: “ScotRail are now operating an emergency service and they won’t have any services running after the festival tonight. Please organise alternative travel plans home”.
Travellers have since slammed rail providers for not providing extra services during Glasgow’s busiest weekend, labelling it an “absolute joke”.
One frustrated user wrote: “What a joke. What are people supposed to do with 6 hours notice whilst at the event”, another added: “Time to step aside and let someone else take over, I think. This just isn’t good enough.”
