Trevolution Group, parent company of ASAP Tickets, Skylux Travel, Oojo and Triplicity, has reported a soaring number of registrations on its independent travel manager platform, Dreamport.
The digital platform, launched in April, 2023, has revealed it has had over 187,500 freelancers from different parts of the world sign up on Dreamport to pursue their business in the travel industry.
India, Moldova, and Uzbekistan were strategically chosen as the first launch markets for the platform, and by the end of this year, it is about to be launched across several other new locations to empower and unite aspiring independent travel managers.
Over 183,500 ticketing requests were processed, and more than 30,000 flights to 851 destinations were sold with the assistance and facilitation of Dreamport’s independent travel managers, the majority of which are based in India.
As a result, close to $7 million in gross booking revenue was generated within the past year.
The United States and Canada were the top locations most travelers departed from, with Nigeria, India, the Philippines, Ghana, and Italy being among the most popular international destinations for traditional leisure tourism, as well as the emerging visiting-friends-and-relatives segment.
Dreamport provides an all-inclusive, free training programme covering various topics from marketing and customer service to travel industry standards and digital tools.
“In less than a year of freelancing as an independent travel manager, I was able to rapidly develop my expertise, which allowed me to successfully transition into new freelance opportunities and increase my income,” said Priyanka Vankamimidi, Dreamport’s quality management lead from India.
