ALEJANDRO BALDE DISMISSES LIVERPOOL LINKS
Barcelona’s young left-back Alejandro Balde has poured cold water on rumours suggesting that he could join Liverpool this summer after responding to a fan on social media.
There haven’t been any links between the Reds and the Spanish defender, but Barcelona’s financial difficulties means they may need to sell some of their high-profile stars this summer.
However, Balde is certainly not interested in leaving Catalonia in the coming months, offering a firm response to a Liverpool supporter who asked him to move to Anfield via social media.
“And leaving Barcelona in summer? No man,” replied Balde, followed by a laughing emoji.

LEEDS PAIR DISCUSSED BY LIVERPOOL
Leeds United duo Crysencio Summerville and Archie Gray have been linked with Anfield in recent months and both are seemingly under consideration at Anfield.
Both young talents suffered disappointment at the end of the 2023/24 Championship season, with Leeds losing 1-0 to Southampton in the play-off final at Wembley.
As a result, the Yorkshire club won’t return to the Premier League next season, with an exodus of the club’s top performers expected.
According to Ben Jacobs and GIVEMESPORT, Liverpool have ‘discussed’ a move for Summerville this summer, while the Reds could also pursue Gray.

JAMIE CARRAGHER EXPECTS COMPETITIVE LIVERPOOL NEXT SEASON
Jamie Carragher has backed Liverpool to avoid a significant drop-off in performance levels next season following Jurgen Klopp’s summer exit.
Arne Slot’s arrival from Feyenoord hasn’t eased the concerns of all Liverpool supporters, many of whom have been left fearing the worst following Klopp’s departure.
Some have pointed to the difficulties that Manchester United and Arsenal faced after the exits of Alex Ferguson and Arsene Wenger respectively, but Carragher thinks Liverpool’s behind-the-scenes structure makes such a troubled period unlikely.
Speaking with the Metro, the former Liverpool defender stated: “I expect us to be competitive, as long as we have a good summer transfer window. We have people behind the scenes.
“I don’t think they had that structure at Man United when Ferguson left. It was the same with Wenger. They were old-fashioned football managers who ran everything and those days have gone.”

MOHAMED SALAH HAIR TRANSPLANT CONSPIRACIES
Mohamed Salah broke the internet a few days after the end of the Premier League season when the Egyptian king debuted a drastic new haircut across his social media profiles, completely shorn of his trademark do.
In the days following Salah’s new trim, fans have been going into overdrive, speculating whether or not the 31-year-old has had a hair transplant.
The conspiracy theories around Salah’s hairline this week have reached fever pitch this week though with fans even measuring the angles of Salah’s hair in an attempt to prove or disprove whether or not he’s had a procedure done.
We know it’s off season and there’s not much transfer business to discuss as yet but this really takes the biscuit.
