AI-driven business travel data intelligence specialist has announed a new addition to its technology proposition with the launch of Air Sourcing Navigator, a new application giving corporate travel managers dynamic insights into optimising their air programme.
Air Sourcing Navigator pulls the corporate’s real-time air travel and expense data from the PredictX analytics platform.
The application uses advanced data science to analyse and benchmark that data to detect opportunities, for certain routes, carriers, or class of travel, where the travel manager could negotiate or re-negotiate a better deal with the relevant airline. It then sends these recommendations to the travel manager.
The corporate’s entire air travel data is populated accurately and completely within
Air Sourcing Navigator takes a corporate’s entire air travel data because the PredictX platform ingests data from over 200 pre-built connectors.
This includes TMCs, expense systems, credit cards, OBTs, GDS systems, suppliers, HR systems and general ledger.
Using market-differentiating AI and machine learning, this data is validated, fused and enriched to generate a single consolidated source of truth, giving corporates highly-automated and actionable insights to support better decision-making.
Air Sourcing Navigator also leverages technology within PredictX’s AI platform, sheri.ai, to enable the user to interpret the data in more detail, like Natural Language Processing on a user’s request to explain a graph for a deeper understanding of the reason for potential savings.
Air Sourcing Navigator is just the first of a portfolio of AI-enabled sourcing applications to be developed by PredictX. Additional specialist hotel and ground transport sourcing applications will be released later this year.
Keesup Choe, CEO of PredictX, said: “Our mission at PredictX is to empower our clients to forecast and automate critical business decisions.
“Our platform puts the power of AI at their fingertips, so that they can immediately make better decisions based on accurate data and predictive insights.”
“We are continuously investing in enhancements to our tech offering, and developing innovative applications to help corporates proactively solve challenges they face in managing their travel programme, all while driving cost savings,” added Choe.
“We identified air sourcing as an area where buyers would benefit from our AI-led approach to data science to make informed decisions based on dynamic insights.
She said: “We are therefore delighted to be bringing Air Sourcing Navigator to market as our latest product innovation. We also look forward to unveiling applications for hotel and ground sourcing later this year.”
