Slow traffic at the Tyne Bridge

There is currently slow traffic on A167 in both directions at the Tyne Bridge. In the roadworks area.

Due to ongoing renovation work, only two of the four lanes on the bridge are open.

No Metro trains between North Shields and Monkseaton

There are no Metro trains running between North Shields and Monkseaton in both directions.

This is due to an obstruction on the line.

Tickets and passes are valid on Go North East bus services 1, 307 and 317.

A Nearby Taxi shuttle service is also operating in the affected area.
