Top Gear stars Paddy McGuinness and Chris Harris will head back to the small screen for their very own road trip series.
The BBC have officially announced the pair will front Road Trippin’, which will follow the duo as they travel across Europe.
The three-part series will see self-described “well and truly middle aged” Paddy and ‘’soon to be fifty’’ Chris go on a mission to explore the secrets to living a long and full life.

The official synopsis adds: “The two friends will be meeting some of the healthiest, happiest, not to mention ‘well -preserved’ and long-lived people alive. Along the way, they will be getting under the skin of each country they visit as well as doing plenty of soul searching.”
Road Trippin’, airing on BBC One and BBC iPlayer, will see Paddy and Chris head out on the road across Sweden, Greece and Switzerland, discovering some of the mid-life secrets of the planet.
Don’t Look Down star Paddy shared in a statement: “I’m very much looking forward to getting back on the road with Chris Harris. Not so much looking forward to sharing a confined space with him. He doesn’t believe in deodorant. On the plus side he’ll give me something to laugh at along the way. Bring it on!”
Chris added: “Paddy’s idea of long-haul travel is driving from Bolton to Blackpool, so this European road-trip should be a real eye-opener for both of us. When we’re finished debating the merits of literally everything we encounter, viewers will hopefully take something rewarding away from our deep-dive into the secrets of human longevity – but I’m just hoping my interest in the subject doesn’t dwindle as each mile goes by in Paddy’s company!”
Road Trippin’ was originally confirmed by Paddy during an exclusive chat with virginradio.co.uk in April, during which the comedian shared some extra details about what fans can expect.
He said: “We’re travelling around, and we’re looking at different parts of Europe and how they live. I’m talking about exercise, diet , fashion, food and drink, mental health, compared to how we are in the UK.
“It’s being done in a nice, warm, funny way. I’m really looking forward to that. I’m looking forward to seeing Chris talking about something other than cars as well.”
The Take Me Out star revealed at the time that the series will be a “totally different show” from Top Gear, which viewers will see “within a few minutes” of the first episode.
He continued: “Chris will probably still be looking at cars as we drive around and go, ‘is that such a thing?’ It’s a different style and flavour to Top Gear, but it’s still got the sensibilities of the humour, and the warmth, and just kind of looking at stuff and being unsure of it until you get stuck in.”
It comes as both Paddy and Chris await further news on the future of Top Gear, after the beloved car programme was pulled from production “for the foreseeable future,” after co-host Freddie Flintoff was involved in a terrifying crash in December 2022.
“It’s what’s been put out there by the BBC”, Paddy explained to us. “Top Gear hasn’t been cancelled. It’s just on hold at the minute while they get a few things in place.
Paddy then insisted: “This isn’t me being like an MP, it’s what we know. So let’s see what happens.
“We’re all up for doing it, but it’s just when the BBC feel it’s right to do it again.”
Road Trippin’ will air on BBC One and BBC iPlayer, with the officially release date yet to be confirmed.
