Ms. Toni Nisbett has made history by becoming the first International Federation of Bodybuilding & Fitness (IFBB) Elite Pro Bikini Fitness athlete from St. Kitts & Nevis. Competing at the IFBB Roger Boyce Classic on May 11 in Barbados, Nisbett secured first place in the women’s bikini fitness category for athletes up to 164 cm tall.
Nisbett’s victory was significant in a competitive field of seven athletes from Barbados, Italy, Jamaica, Mexico, Suriname, Bahamas, and St. Kitts & Nevis. The over 164 cm category featured competitors from Barbados, Grenada, Venezuela, and Mexico, totaling 15 athletes in the entire lineup.Â
Nisbett not only won her category but also clinched the overall bikini title, earning her the prestigious IFBB Elite Pro Card, officially making her a professional bodybuilder and a trailblazer for the federation of St. Kitts & Nevis.
Expressing her hopes for the future, Ms. Nisbett said, she hopes this win will inspire more athletes to try the sport of bodybuilding as “it is a great way to stay fit, healthy, and to be an ambassador for your country.”
