Tommy Fury talks cheating rumours in first interview since split

Must read

Tommy Fury has answered the question that fans have been desperate to know the answer to since news of his and Molly-Mae’s shock split broke- did he cheat?

The boxer, whose book is being released later in October with an extra chapter on their break-up, has spoken out about the cheating rumours in his first interview with the Daily Mail.

‘All the allegations that were made of me recently are completely false,’ he said. ‘The truth will come out in time and when it does I think a lot of people might regret their actions and unkind words.’

Asked if he ‘categorically hasn’t cheated on Molly,’ Tommy was insistent, saying ‘absolutely not’ and that he believes if people feel like cheating they should end their relationship as there’s no love anymore.

As for whether he’s ever been tempted to cheat, Tommy was again clear in his convictions saying ‘never’ and that Molly-Mae is the ‘perfect woman’.

Since their breakup, dozens of rumours have been doing the rounds including that Tommy cheated on Molly-Mae, that she got tired of his partying, and that an influencer’s baby was his.

Tommy was full of praise for Molly-Mae in the interview, saying not only is she the perfect woman but that she’s the perfect mum to their daughter Bambi.

So, if Tommy didn’t cheat, then why did the famous couple who were Love Island’s golden couple split?

‘What the public thinks is going on isn’t what is going on. It’s not something I envisaged happening, but it didn’t come out of nowhere. It’s a thing that was there previously to all this happening, but the only people who know what is going on in our relationship is me and Molly,’ Tommy said.

Tommy is determined to win back Molly-Mae and is still in love with her – going as far as to say he’ll love her until his ‘final breath’.

‘The whole world could be against me and I’ll still fight because that’s the mindset of a winner and I am a winner,’ Tommy said.

‘I know what I have to do in order to resolve things [and win Molly-Mae back],’ he continued. ‘And that’s down to me. Nobody else can do that other than me.’

Tommy’s book Lightning Can Strike Twice will be published on October 10. His book is being serialised in The Irish Mail on Sunday and the Irish Daily Mail on Monday.
