A statement from his three sons TJ, Taj and Taryll read: “It’s with heavy hearts we announce that our beloved father, Rock & Roll Hall of Famer Tito Jackson is no longer with us. We are shocked, saddened and heartbroken. Our father was an incredible man who cared about everyone and their well-being.”
Tito was the third of nine Jackson children, with siblings including global superstars Michael and Janet. A 10th sibling, Brandon, died in infancy.
Here are the siblings from oldest to youngest.

Maureen Reillette ‘Rebbie’ Jackson: Born 1950
Rebbie released her first solo album aged 34 and, perhaps making up for lost time, released two others on the back of that in 1986 and 1988.
She has not been active since her fourth album Yours Faithfully, released in 1998.
Rebbie has three children from her marriage to Nathaniel Brown, which ended when he died in 2013.
Sigmund Esco ‘Jackie’ Jackson: Born 1951
Jackie is the oldest brother and elder statesman of the Jackson 5 but, despite his seniority, had the highest singing voice of the ensemble.
Was considered as the lead of the group but Michael’s talent led to him taking centre stage.
Jackie had a limited solo career and has four children, having been married three times.

Toriano Adaryll ‘Tito’ Jackson: Born 1953-Died 2024
Days before his death, Tito posted a message on his Facebook page from Munich, Germany, where he visited a memorial to Michael with his brothers.
“We’re deeply grateful for this special place that honours not only his memory but also our shared legacy. Thank you for keeping his spirit alive,” he wrote.
Tito previously said he purposely held back from pursuing a solo career, because he wanted to focus on raising his three sons: TJ, Taj and Taryll, who formed their own music group 3T.
Jermaine La Jaune Jackson: Born 1954
Jermaine took a backing singer role in the Jackson 5 although his vocal can be heard on the hit I Want You Back.
He left and returned at various points for reunions, most recently in 2020, as the group became known as The Jacksons.

She has released 10 solo albums and made various television appearances.
Marlon David Jackson: Born 1957
A founding and ever-present member of the Jackson 5, Marlon has had a more stable life than many of his siblings, marrying only once.
He has had a limited solo career, releasing one album, Baby Tonight, in the US.

Michael Joseph Jackson: Born 1958-Died 2009
Michael was the youngest member of the Jackson 5 and had the most successful solo career up to his death in 2009.
Speaking to the Associated Press in December 2009, Tito Jackson said his younger brother’s death pulled the family closer together.
“I would say definitely it brought us a step closer to each other. To recognise the love we have for each other when one of us is not here, what a great loss,” he said, adding he would personally never “be at peace with it”.
Steven Randall ‘Randy’ Jackson: Born 1961
Randy joined the Jackson 5 as a replacement for his departing brother Jermaine.
The 62-year-old has had various legal issues over the years and currently co-partners his younger sister Janet at her independent record label Rhythm Nation Records.
