The Venice Film Festival is in full swing with its seventh day and on Tuesday major British stars graced the red carpets.
One of the main events of the day was the photocall and premiere of Luca Guadagnino’s latest offering, Queer, which stars James Bond actor Daniel Craig and Scream: Resurrection’s Drew Starkey.
Daniel hit the red carpet in a cool Loewe suit, and he wasn’t the only British A-lister in attendance, as The Crownactress Lesley Manville joined him.
See below for the best looks from day seven…
Daniel Craig
The iconic actor channelled his Knives Out character Benoit Blanc as he donned a smart-casual ensemble, consisting of a white shirt and jeans for the photocall of his new film Queer.
For the evening premiere, Daniel wore a Loewe suit, paired with brown loafers.
Rachel Weisz
Daniel’s wife Rachel Weisz wore a gorgeous midnight blue sparkling gown by Atelier Versace for the premiere. The dress featured a sheer cape, which gave a playful look to the fit, and a sweetheart neckline.
Lesley Manville
Lesley’s dress wasn’t worlds away from the fashion of Princess Margaret, with the actress donning a striped dress that carried several unique patterns.
But for the evening premiere it was glam time, as Lesley also wore Loewe.
The silk gown featured an open sleeve and a long cape, while ruche detailing and a tortoiseshell clip gave shape to the look.
Ethan Hawke
Hollywood star Ethan Hawke was seen at the Film Festival and he rocked an all-grey look as he rocked up.
Omar Apollo
Omar is set to play a love interest of Daniel’s in Queer as he makes his film debut. The popular American singer looked super stylish in a brown shirt with green trousers.
Omar also wore Loewe to the red carpet; he rocked a black oversized suit with a gold metal mesh tank.
The fashion house had collaborated with Luca Guadagnino, the director of Queer, on a 2024/2025 showcase, and their close relationship revealed itself in the brand’s choice to help dress the cast.
Tilda Swinton
Tilda Swinton wore “totally important designer” Alaia to the red carpet.
The stunning white dress hit above the ankle and showed off a pair of clashing bright blue heels.
