Follows concern around catering prices
Government says thousands of people enjoy the food, drink and merchandise available at The Grandstand each day during the TT festival.
It comes after some expressed concerns about the cost of catering available to visitors and locals.
Manx Radio’s William King went to The Grandstand to take a look and speak to some TT fans:
A caller to Manx Radio’s Mannin Line claimed someone had been charged £25 for a burger, fries and water at the paddock.
Chief Officer of the Department for Enterprise Mark Lewin says he doesn’t recognise those claims:
Some of the food trucks at The Grandstand come over to the Island for the TT fortnight.
Owner of The Street Diner John Labella says he employs Manx staff and only uses local produce when at the TT.
