This Morning’s Vanessa Feltz in tears over dating heartbreak

This Morning star Vanessa Feltz was recently left in a flood of tears after a devastating dating experience.

Opening up about her love life, the former Celebs Go Dating star revealed she was recently set up on a date by a couple of her friends.

However, while Feltz initially hit it off with her date, she sadly didn’t get her happily ever after.

Chatting to best’s Suddenly Single podcast, Feltz recalled how her dream date ended in heartbreak.

“I still haven’t recovered,” she confessed. “This happened to me – I might start crying – literally last week. So, it’s very, very new.

“I’ve just got to tell you at this point, this has an unhappy ending, before you get excited or carried away.

“Just to warn everybody so everybody doesn’t start crying with the shock, because I did myself.”

Divulging the details of her connection with the mystery man, Feltz revealed she “liked him from the very first second” they met and went on to have a “sublime date”.

“It’s just great,” she said. “From the second he gets there, it’s fabulous. We’re just having a lovely, excellent time.”

Feltz revealed the date, which she was convinced was a success, lasted six hours and ended with a 15-minute-long kiss.

However, all was not as it seemed, as days later Feltz received some disappointing news.

After three days had passed, Feltz got a text from her date confirming he didn’t want to move the any relationship further.

“The message says: ‘I hope your shoot on Sunday went well. Although I very much enjoyed the evening, I do not think we have a romantic future’,” she said.

Revealing how blindsided she was by the news, she added: “I started to shake from shock because I just was not expecting that at all. I just can’t think I misread signals.”
