A This Morning star has revealed she’s become a grandmother for the first time.
The show’s resident baker Juliet Sear shared on Sunday that eldest daughter Lydia, 23, welcomed her first child, a baby boy – with the tot having arrived in the early hours of August 3, weighing 5lb 14oz.
Her announcement came in the comments of fellow new grandmother-to-be Lorraine Kelly’s Instagram post of her own daughter Rosie, who is expecting her first baby very soon.
And while offering her well wishes, Juliet shared the happy news, writing: ‘So exciting!! We are grandparents today!! First time.’
Fans were quick to share their congratulations to the star, with one writing: ‘That’s wonderful! Congratulations and love to the new Mom and Dad, you and your family and of course love to your first grandchild xx.’

Juliet announced back in April that her graphic designer daughter was expecting a baby, noting that her girl was doing ‘really well’ with her progress.
She told The Express: ‘She’s doing really well. She’s got her own place, she’s a graphic designer and is a fine artist.
‘She’s just sold her own place and is getting another one. She’s having a baby in a few months.
Last month, Juliet took to Instagram to share sweet images from daughter Lydia’s baby shower, with the cook taking the helm with preparations.
Juliet shared images of herself posing with a green cake she baked as well as snaps of Lydia showcasing her burgeoning baby bump.
Juliet gushed in her post: ‘This time last week @lydsear BABY SHOWER! Ideas for your baby shower here!

‘Such a lovely day! I made a special cake (GLUTEN FREE AND DAIRY FREE!) loads of yummy snacks and Lydia’s friends and family came to celebrate the arrival of baby Graph.
‘To be honest I was very nervous about doing a baby shower I had no idea what to do! Got some great ideas from @rubysear and @nancycmaddocks and I think everyone had a lovely time. Especially Lydia.
‘Some of the activities we did: Guess the circumference of Lydia’s bump, how well do we know Lydia quiz, customising baby vests with fabric paint. Pin the dummy on the baby game. Guess the chocolate in the nappy game.”

As well as Lydia, the baking expert shares youngest daughter Ruby, an actress, and a son George, also an actor, with her husband Simon Sear.
The happy couple tied the knot back in 1997.
