This Morning presenter Ashley James has been applauded by ITV viewers for challenging Bonnie Blue’s ‘horrendous’ views.
The controversial OnlyFans star, 25, makes £600,000 a month from making consensual adult videos with ‘barely legal teens’.
After being banned from Australia and deported from Fiji over plans to sleep with young men, Blue appeared on today’s This Morning to defend her content.
Ashley, 37, challenged Blue for perpetuating harmful ideology about women existing as the ‘sexual property’ of men, negatively impacting young people’s attitudes towards sex and failing to give equal weighting to female sexual pleasure as male pleasure.
Blue also denied using the term ‘barely legal’ teens despite using the term herself This Morning and in an interview with Metro earlier this month.
After Blue’s protestations, Ashley expertly confronted her, asking: ‘Have you listened to your own words?’
Blue replied: ‘No, of course.’
Ashley’s interviewing skills have been praised by viewers on X, with @JulesItsjules saying: ‘Go on Ashley. This Bonnie Blue character is deluded and embarrassing. Why is she even on? Wrapping up what she does as education. Madness! #ThisMorning.’
Echoing their sentiment, @Beckie_Miller_ wrote: ‘Of course we agree with Ashley (for a change) this woman is repugnant #ThisMorning.’
@Auntiepamsy commented: ‘#ThisMorning that segment with Bonnie Blue. Seems she was so defensive when Ashley made some valid points, like how she does women no favours. So she “educates”boys by showing them money can buy sex. Instead of them experiencing meeting and falling in love the natural way.’
@Mabel_Mouse_ added: ‘I’m so glad Ashley is pulling this woman up. The double standards at play here are horrendous #ThisMorning.’
After appearing on the show, Ashley posted an Instagram Story to thank her fans for their support.
‘Wow! So many messages,’ she began.
‘There’s so much I want to unpack and say but for now I just wanted to hump on and say thanks for all the love. It means A LOT.
‘I would have loved to have had longer to talk and to challenge her! But I’m so grateful that the team gave me this platform and trusted me to be able to challenge her.’
On This Morning, Ashley began by telling Blue: ‘Lots of women will be understanding of the double standards: a man’s value increases with sex and a woman’s value decreases. There will be lots of us fully supportive of sexual liberation.
‘The issue people have with you is that you use terms like ‘barely legal’ and you say that you’re “babysitting” for adults. You said that in a podcast interview with Lottie Moss.’
Blue interjected: ‘Barely legal is a term the media gave and the media like to villanise women.
Ashley continued: ‘But you also like to use that terminology. You also say that you’re educating, but I’m wondering who are you educating? Because your audience, especially on TikTok, are teenagers.
‘We live in a society where the likes of Andrew Tate and incel culture are on the rise. There’s a real fear not only for our daughters but also for our sons. When you say you’re educating, what kind of messaging are you putting out there?
‘I’ve also heard you say phrases such as women are lazy if they’re not going to give sex to their husbands.
Interrupting, Blue said: ‘They are.’
Ashley continued: ‘Women are not the sexual property of men. Women don’t exist to pleasure men and I’ve never heard you talk about female pleasure.’
Blue protested: ‘You’re listening to the media and the media lies about women.’
Ashley asked: ‘Have you listened to your own words?’
Blue replied: ‘No, of course.’
Earlier this month in an interview with the Metor, Bonnie insisted she is no sex predator.
She said: ‘From a business point of view, it’s the most searchable category in the [adult content] hub – it’s the trending search and has been for a very, very long time – but it’s always been schoolgirls as opposed to schoolboys.
‘There was money to be made, because there’s a gap in the market for it being schoolboys.
‘I call them barely legal teens, because I’m aware it’s going to get attention. The more attention I get, the more word spreads, and the more people that know about it, the more 18-year-olds I can sleep with.
‘Middle-aged women are saying if I was a guy, this would be so wrong. They were calling me a predator. People are calling me a predator anyway. So it makes no difference if I’m a guy or a female, because my hate has been through the roof in terms of death threats and non-stop abuse.
‘There’s been no uproar for these content creators who market their videos as schoolgirls. I’ve done it the other way around and there’s massive uproar.’
This Morning airs weekdays from 10am on ITV.
