Theo James put on an amorous display with his wife Ruth Kearney as they attended the Dolce & Gabbana fashion show in Sardinia.

The actor, 39, looked incredibly suave as he cut a dapper figure in a dark navy blazer which featured exposed stitching and a pair of tailored black trousers.

He teamed a black shirt underneath the smart ensemble and sported a pair of leather loafers.

To complete the look, Theo opted for a pair of orange-tinted shades as he strolled into the event with his wife.

Meanwhile, his wife Ruth, also 39, exuded elegance in a black lace gown which boasted a maxi length.

The Irish actress teamed the chic gown with a cropped blazer and further accessorised the look with a pair of gold drop earrings and black shades.

She added inches to her frame with a pair of black court heels and toted her essentials around in a black clutch.

The happy couple, who have been married since 2018, appeared in high spirits as they walked into the event hand-in-hand.

According to the Dolce and Gabbana site: ‘Here, amidst stunning beaches and majestic ruins that echo tales of times past, Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana present their latest creations in Alta Moda, Alta Sartoria, and Alta Gioielleria.’

‘These masterpieces of beauty and authenticity are crafted with local artistry and folklore, creating a tapestry of traditions and dreams where each ancient gesture tells stories of love and magic.’

The fashion show is being held at the luxury retreat of Forte Village which offers ‘world-class amenities, stunning views, and unparalleled service, making it the perfect place to experience the beauty of Southern Sardinia while enjoying the latest Alta Moda, Alta Sartoria, and Alta Gioielleria creations’.

Theo and Ruth’s outing comes after the Hollywood star admitted earlier this year that he started using Irish phrases because of his wife, however, fears he’s not using them correctly.

He shared with RSVP Live: ‘My wife is Irish, and she obviously loves Ireland, and we love Ireland, I mean, there’s lots of Irish that goes around the family.’

Little Mermaid actress Halle Bailey, 24, looked sensational as she stepped out in a white wire cage dress which was adorned with with hundreds of pearls and diamonds

He also said he started using the phrase ‘That’s gas’ but admitted it didn’t sound quite right in his British accent.

He revealed: ‘(It) sounds terrible. Because it’s obviously an Irish thing, that’s gas, but I’m like, “That’s a gas. I find that very gas”.’

He told The Irish Mail On Sunday: ‘Then we also say, for you know, in the morning, especially with kids, you’re like, “Oh, do you want some porridge?” But my wife thought the Irish for porridge was “paróiste” (parish). But I think that’s actually a priest or something.’

Theo and Ruth met at Bristol’s Old Vic Theatre School and the couple appeared on stage in The Man of Mode.

They then got married in 2018 after almost ten years together and tied the knot over two weddings, one low-key civil ceremony and one lavish affair in Italy.

They now have two sons, aged three and one.
