Welcome to the Week in Fashion, Bazaar’s at-a-glance guide to what the industry is talking about.
La DoubleJ and Orlebar Brown Drop the Perfect OOO Wardrobe
Just in time for summer, La DoubleJ and Orlebar Brown released the perfect capsule collection for your incoming summer PTO. Aptly dubbed “Raise Your Vacation Vibration,” the collection includes 34 ready-to-wear styles emblazoned in the kind of bold and colorful patterns that you’ll want to immediately stash in your carry-on.
The collaboration almost marks a reunion for friends and brand founders, J.J. Martin and Adam Brown, who apparently reconnected during a mutual friend’s party in the English countryside. Together, the two blended the best of both brands, synthesizing together La DoubleJ’s signature vivacious prints with Orlebar Brown’s sophisticatedly streamlined silhouettes.
“This collection is really a true founder-to-founder brainchild,” Martin said in a press release statement. “Although they might seem traditionally like ‘men’s’ and ‘women’s’ collection forged into one, all the pieces are really genderless, meant to be borrowed from your partner or your BFF’s closet while on holiday together. This is a true marriage of energies and aesthetics.”
Brown said in his own statement, “I fell in love with La Double J when I met J.J. Martin a few years ago. Her aesthetic is infectiously upbeat and vibrant—the ultimate manifestation of our mantra ‘Feel Summer.’ This collection is a superb fusion of both brands, taking them into new worlds. Without rules. Without constraint. With love and a sense of joy.”
Zendaya Has a Another Fashion Title to Add to Her Resumé
Fresh off the success of sports drama Challengers, it was perhaps only a matter of time before Zendaya would embark on a new partnership with a luxe sportswear brand. This week, she announced her multi-year collaboration with On, the Swiss running brand who, as Zendaya says in a press release statement, she is “always wearing” while on set, traveling, or rehearsing. “It’s no secret that I’ve been a big fan of On for a long time,” she adds. “So it’s a full-circle moment to make this partnership official.”
Zendaya kickstarted the collaboration with a C Prinz-directed short film, dubbed Dream Together. The minute-long visual captures a dreamlike sequence of the actor, clad in On clothing, as she moves around a track with an ensemble of dancers surrounding her.
“I owe so much to the people around me for getting me to where I am and this film recognizes and appreciates those who support and uplift us every day,” she said. “I think this feeling of collaboration and inclusiveness shines through in what we’ve created.”

Miu Miu Takes a Page Out of Jane Austen’s Playbook
No, literally! On June 7 and June 8, the Italian fashion house will host back-to-back Summer Reads events at select newsstands across the world (and New York City’s beloved West Village shop, Casa Magazines, is participating!).
Billed as an initiative that embodies the brand’s “commitment to contemporary thought and culture,” visitors will receive two of the three following texts, which were chosen for the writers’s “brave and powerfully influential status as female creator[s]”: Persuasion by Jane Austen, A Woman by Sibilla Aleramo, and Forbidden Notebook by Alba de Céspedes. The events will last nearly all day, starting from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Hailey Bieber Models a New Take on Timeless Eyewear
So, Hailey Bieber‘s love affair with Saint Laurent continues. As a brand ambassador, the model and Rhode founder takes center stage in the house’s in a new campaign that showcases creative director Anthony Vaccarello’s updated take on Ray-Ban’s iconic Wayfarer sunglasses.
The result of the Saint Laurent Rive Droite collaboration? A sleek limited-edition Ultra Black Wayfarer, with sharper edges and black hardware. The shades, which cost $495, became available to shop on Saint Laurent’s website on June 1.
Hublot Reimagines the Pocket Watch with Artist Daniel Arsham
Luxury Swiss watchmaker Hublot teamed up with contemporary artist Daniel Arsham to produce the Arsham Droplet, a limited-edition timepiece that offers a modern take on the classic pocket watch.
Unveiled on June 6, the Arsham Droplet takes its ergonomic shape and design from the kinds of fluid and elemental forms one might expect to find in a natural landscape. More specifically, the watch is made out of titanium, rubber, and sapphire crystal, and features Hublot’s Meca-10 manufacture movement that allows for a 10-day power reserve.
There are only 99 Arsham Droplets available right now on the market, so—if you have about $88,000 to spare, give or take—you better act quick.
