As November melted into December, it proved a case of “out of the frying pan and into the fire” for the now-former presenter of BBC’s MasterChef, Gregg Wallace.
The 60-year-old star has stepped down from his long-running culinary broadcast role in the wake of numerous allegations of misconduct and inappropriate behaviour.
His first online response to the allegations proved to be catastrophic and resulted in Wallace retreating from social media while the BBC opened an investigation into the allegations.
