The First LEGO Mario Kart Sets Have Been Detailed With Prices Ahead Of Release Next Week

It’s really snuck up but LEGO has confirmed that the first LEGO Mario Kart sets as well as new Animal Crossing and Sonic sets will launch on January 21st, 2025.

There’s six LEGO Mario Kart sets launching on January 1st ranging from 19.99 AUD to $129.99 AUD, with some including just karts and others including multiple characters. These can be paired with the LEGO Mario, Luigi and Peach figures that were released in the original LEGO Super Mario sets.

The biggest set is the $129.99 LEGO Mario Kart Baby Peach & Gran Prix set which is 823 pieces and includes Wild Wiggler, Landship and Standard bike vehicles as well as Baby Peach, Latiku, Lemmy and Toad figures and there’s an entire track including karts that can launch shells, a starting gate and barriers as well as a winners’ podium. It seems like it’ll be the one to get if you want to have the authentic Mario Kart experience.

Other sets include the Donkey Kong & DK Jumbo set which includes Donkey Kong and his DK Jumbo kart for $59.99, the Baby Mario vs Baby Luigi set for $49.99 which includes two cars and shell launching battles, the $59.99 Toad’s Garage set which includes a kart, a car lift and two Toad figures, the Standard Kart set for $29.99 which includes Mario’s iconic kart, and the Yoshi Bike set for $19.99 which includes Blue Yoshi and a bike.
