The Artisan Craft Fair hosted by Folk & Bespoke is set to grace Rayleigh this weekend with a unique shopping experience. Folk & Bespoke will be showcasing the remarkable work of over 35 talented local designer-makers. There will be a huge range of products available including ceramics, textiles, jewellery, prints, homewares, and delectable freshly baked cakes.
The fair prides itself as being different from the rest – saying on Facebook that it is “not the same boring shops that you see around town, bringing you the same cheap, unethical goods” – where you can support local artisans. It aims to be a unique shopping experience in addition to a celebration of small independent businesses and craftspeople. There will surely be something for everyone and a fun day out for all ages.
Customers can shop easily in one place, from lots of local artisans, makers and creatives who use their “store without a front” to sell their work. It seems to be a lovely community event where people can come together to make, sell, buy and collect unique and bespoke items, supporting local design professionals and crafters.

Folk & Bespoke commented: “The demand is there, the talent is there. Let’s commit to being something different, something better, something great! I hope that all of us small businesses will support other small businesses.”
The Artisan Craft Fair on Saturday, June 22 is open from 10am to 3pm, with free entry, and is located at the The Mill Arts & Events Centre.
