Ed Sheeran was mobbed by hundreds of fans as he made yet another surprise appearance on Tuesday – this time at a Sainsbury’s store to promote his Tingly Ted’s hot sauce.
The singer, 33, turned up at the London Colney store in Hertfordshire delighting those merely popping out for a low-key midweek shop.
Tingly Ted’s – owned by Heinz – was launched last March and offers two sauces – ‘Tingly’ and ‘Xtra Tingly’ and retails for £3 a bottle.
He pulled up in a bright orange branded truck shocking locals and was serving up slices of pizza with the sauce on – all with a huge smile on his face.
For fans he signed everything from blocks of cheese and CDs to kitchen roll – which has since been put on eBay – with the sauce as special momentos for those who visited the pop up van.

The star was joined by a huge angry bear ‘Ted’ as the pair sat in a diner enjoying a variety of meals with the hot sauce.
The singer cut a casual figure in a grey sweatshirt and jeans as he hugged the eye catching animated teddy.

He served up small pots of the chips and sauce
He was in his element in the truck
He sliced up one of the pizzas
The truck certainly attracted attention in the car park
He waved to some of his fans
He looked in great spirits while out and about
He even signed a piece of broccoli
He selected some bottles off the shelves
He even signed a block of cheese with his autograph
He handed out the snacks
And posed behind the counter
He attracted a lot of attention in the car park
One had an album cover signed in sauce
He wore an apron like the other chefs
