Tesla is recalling more than 11,000 new Cybertruck electric vehicles after safety regulators found a potentially dangerous fault with its giant windscreen wiper.
The futuristic truck may also have a trim in the boot improperly attached, the US National Highway Traffic Safety Administration said.
In April Elon Musk’s electric vehicle company recalled nearly 4,000 Cybertrucks, whose price starts at $79,990, to fix an accelerator pedal pad that could come loose.
The recall of 11,688 trucks is the latest setback for the vehicle, whose mass production is expected to start next year. Tesla has yet to disclose how many trucks have gone to consumers in its quarterly deliveries and production report.
