TESCO shoppers have rushed to stores to buy a “brilliant” shopping basket essential selling for its “lowest price ever”.

The supermarket giant has slashed its prices and one customer recently found a bargain deal in their local store.

One shopper shared her Persil 3 In 1 discovery with others on social mediaCredit: Facebook

The savvy shopper was thrilled with her buy and quickly took to social media to show off her loot from Tesco.

She revealed the retailer was selling 1.35kg Persil 3 in 1 Non Bio Laundry Washing Capsules for £6.

Originally priced at £12, Tesco is now offering savings of £6 to those with a Clubcard for the highly-rated product.

Taking to the Facebook group, Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK, she alerted fellow punters of her find.

Along with pictures of the goods she wrote: “Get down to Tesco with your clubcard – I have never seen these large packs at this low a price ever.

Not sure if there’s a limit to how many you can buy in store – but I went through self checkout with 3 no problem.

“This is an amazing price!”

Viewers were quick to praise the find with one saying it was a “brilliant” piece of business.

A second said: “I tried this feeling sceptical but honestly it’s way better, makes the washing smell lovely.

“I have the green one which is the biological one.”

Another said: “I need these!”

While a fourth hailed the discovery a “bargain”.

Five savvy ways to save on your weekly shop at Tesco

Other viewers tagged their friends to let them know about the incredible deal.

Popular for its brilliant clean and stain removal abilities, shoppers are rushing to their nearest store to grab themselves a pack.

However, clearance items can depend on the store, so specific products might not be selling for the same price everywhere else.

Shoppers have also been rushing to Tesco’s for a number of other reasons of late.

The supermarket is currently selling a summer buy for just £6, reduced from £20, that will help you drift off to sleep during the hot weather.

The bargain Silentnight “summer fresh” pillows were spotted by a savvy shopper who posted the details onto a popular Facebook page.

Meanwhile, Tesco shoppers have just hours left to check their Clubcard vouchers before they expire at midnight.

The supermarket has said that there are £20million worth of triple points voucher codes expiring this evening.

If you fail to redeem these codes by 11:59 p.m. this evening, you’ll miss out on the triple points offer for good.

How to save on your Tesco shop

THERE are plenty of ways you can save on your Tesco shop.

You can look out for yellow or red stickers on products, which show when they’ve been reduced.

Some reductions, particularly the final one’s of the day, can mark down products by up to 75 per cent.

Tesco also specialises in its very own Clubcard scheme.

Shoppers who sign up are afforded exclusive prices on products that other people can’t get.

Some of these discounts can save you an absolute fortune, so look out for the yellow banners next to the product and reap the rewards of the special prices.

Making a list should also save you money, as you’ll be less likely to make any rash purchases when you get to the supermarket.

Going own brand can be one easy way to save hundreds of pounds a year on your food bills too.

This means ditching “finest” or “luxury” products and instead going for “own” or “value” type of lines.

Tesco’s Clubcard scheme works by offering you points on any purchases made in-store or online.

These points can then be used to get money off future shops.

But you can also increase the value of the points by redeeming them with one of Tesco‘s partners.

Rewards partners are companies Tesco works with including Disney+, the RAC, as well as a range of hotels and restaurants.

To redeem points with partners, you have to turn them into vouchers and then into Partner Reward codes.

Clubcard points changed into Reward Partner codes usually need to be redeemed within six months.

Tesco said that there are £20million worth of codes which have been requested but not redeemed.

How does Tesco’s Clubcard work?

You earn points as you shop, which can then be turned into vouchers for money off food or with Reward partners.

You earn one point for each £1 spent, and each point is then worth 1p.

So 150 points gets you £1.50, and you would have to spend £150 to get 150 points.

You need a minimum of 150 points to request a voucher.

Any vouchers are worth their face value when used in-store at Tesco.

But you can double their worth by spending them at one of the supermarket chain’s partners.

Any Clubcard points turned into vouchers expire after two years while any vouchers transferred into Reward Partner codes expire after six months.

Loyalty card holders also get access to over 8,000 items for less through Clubcard Prices.
