A new temporary opportunity has arisen for a Typesetter to join a leading independent publisher of early years educational material on a temporary basis for an initial period of 1-4 weeks (potentially leading to more work); our award-winning client publishes engaging, fun and effective literacy materials for use around the world. The company have a friendly and collaborative culture and offer flexibility for hybrid or remote working (based in the UK) and are open to part-time or full-time working patterns.
As a Temporary Typesetter your main remit will be to set up InDesign files correctly for the company’s educational teacher’s guides and then make layout updates. The successful candidate will have experience in working with large InDesign files (200 pages or more) with a mix of text and images. You will also ideally have experience working with educational teacher’s guides or textbooks. You will also be extremely proficient in setting up paragraph and characters’ styles.
