A TEEN has disappeared from a cruise ship during a stop in Germany – and his grandma is terrified he was “lured” off.
Aydin Brown, 14, was last seen leaving the Caribbean Princess Cruise ship at around 7:30am on Thursday.
The vessel company have said they’re working with German cops on the American teen’s case.
Aydin’s family have expressed their worry and heartbreak, with one of his cousins Anne taking to social media and sharing her fear that he’s been snatched.
She posted: “My worst nightmare continues to unroll. Aydin remains missing.
“It appears once he left the ship in Warnemünde, Germany, he may have been lured away.”
There’s reports that the young lad had a falling out with his gran which potentially lead him to get off the ship and vanishing, Fox News claims.
She has since got off the ship and is receiving support from Princess Cruises staff in Germany.
The company has also reportedly arranged for Aydin’s mum to fly out to help with the massive search.
Police revealed that the missing teen had previously made contact online with gamer’s in Germany, Bild reports.
Now cops are using an image from a CCTV camera to search for the witness who appeared to be out with Brown before his disappearance on Thursday.
In a statment, the Rostock Police said: “Who knows the unknown young man or can provide information about his whereabouts?
“Who saw the missing man at around 7:30 a.m. on Thursday morning together with the as yet unknown man at the train station in Warnemünde?”
Warnemünde is about two hours from capital city Berlin.
Princess Cruises said: “We greatly appreciate the swift response and ongoing efforts of the local authorities in their search for the young man”.
The missing teen is described as around 5ft8 tall with brown hair and eyes, weighing about 220 pounds.
He was last seen wearing a grey zip-up hoodie and dark bottoms, carrying a large black backpack with ‘AMAZON’ written on the front.
German cops are asking the witness to report to the police as soon as possible.
