Selena dropped news of her engagement to Benny Blanco on Instagram late last night, and the post was immediately flooded with congratulations from her famous friends.
On top of Taylor Swift chiming in with “yes I will be the flower girl,” Nina Dobrev wrote “YES!!! Congratulations!!!!! So happy for you both!!!!” Jennifer Aniston slid in with a “HONEY!! Congratulations sweet mama!” and Cardi B added a “Waiiiitttt hold on” along with several scream-face emojis and hearts.
Some other celebs who chimed in? Lily Collins with “Ahhhhh yes yes yes! Best news ever. Couldn’t be more happy for you both,” and Ashley Benson and Shay Mitchell, who wrote “Congrats lovely” and “Congratulations!!!!!!!!” respectively. Gwyneth Paltrow also dropped an all-caps “SELENAAAAA” for good measure, and Ayesha Curry commented with a fleet of heart-eyes emojis.
Basically, it’s a good time over in the comments of Selena’s post, 10/10 recommend heading that way.
As a reminder, Selena and Benny have been dating for about a year and are more mutually obsessed with each other by the day. Back in February, the Golden Globe nominee told Zane Lowe, “Without getting into too much detail, I think it’s just really important to meet someone that respects you. And I think it’s really nice to also lean on someone who understands the world that I live in. But I’d have to say, overall, it’s the safest that I feel and it’s been really lovely and I’ve only grown through it, so it’s awesome.”
