Taylor Fritz’s girlfriend Morgan Riddle was every fan after Taylor Swift arrived for the US Open final.
She was with boyfriend, and NFL star, Travis Kelce at Arthur Ashe Stadium as American Fritz took on Jannik Sinner in the final.
Social media influencer Riddle posted a selfie on Instagram as Swift arrived for the match.
Alongside it she wrote: “Oh my god mother is here.”
Kelce and Swift were not the only celebrities with the hottest ticket in town as Fritz lost in straight sets to Sinner with Oscar winning actors Matthew McConaughey, Dustin Hoffman and Eddie Redmayne also watching on.
Kelce’s Chiefs teammate Patrick Mahomes, and his wife Brittany, were also seen joining the couple in the same area.
Legendary musician Jon Bon Jovi was photographed at the event with tennis legend Billie-Jean King also there.
Andy Roddick, the last American man to win a men’s singles title at the US Open, was also there alongside two-time women’s singles champion Tracy Austin too.
Meanwhile, Tesla, SpaceX and X (formerly known as Twitter) owner Elon Musk was also seen in the stadium.
Kelce’s attendance at Flushing Meadows may be considered a surprise given the fact the NFL season is underway.
However, his team, the Kansas City Chiefs, are not in action on Sunday having begun their quest for an unprecedented Super Bowl ‘three-peat’ on Friday night.
Kelce and co got off to a winning start with a 27-20 triumph over the Baltimore Ravens, a match that Swift attended.
Numerous stars attended the women’s final on Saturday night, including Formula 1 legend Lewis Hamilton and Olympic gold medallist Noah Lyles, which saw Aryna Sabalenka get the better of American Jessica Pegula.
Fritz made his first appearance in a Grand Slam final and had his work cut out against his Italian opponent, who won his first Slam of his career in Australia back in January.
The first set was won by Sinner, claiming it 6-3 with the Italian winning the second set 6-4 before winning the third 7-5 to claim his second Grand Slam title.
Fritz was backed by some to achieve glory on home turf by some though, including from rapper Drake, who placed a $210,000 (approximately £160,000) on the 26-year-old to win.
However, Drake is known for placing bets on athletes or teams that end up losing major sporting events, and the ‘Drake Curse’ has indeed struck once again.
“As an American, I know we have been waiting for a champion for a long time, so I am sorry I couldn’t get it done this time,” he said.
“But I am going to keep working and hopefully I’ll get it done next time.”
