talkSPORT betting tips – Best NBA bets and expert advice for Game 3 NBA Finals

Must read

The Boston Celtics have been the dominant force in the NBA this season and the same has remained in the NBA Finals.

They recorded two fairly comfortable wins over the Dallas Mavericks in Boston and now go on the road looking to close out the series with just two more wins needed.

The Mavericks need more support for their star Luka Doncic, who has been the only player to manage more than 17 points for Dallas across the two games.

Celtics overpriced to continue their success

The Boston Celtics’ two wins in the first two games of this series means that they have now been successful in nine games in a row and they look overpriced on the money line to repeat the trick and make it ten in a row.

Jaylen Brown has continued his impressive form from the conference finals, averaging 24.6 points, six rebounds and 2.9 assists per game.

In Game 2 he registered 21 points, four rebounds, seven assists and three steals. His influence takes the pressure off Jayson Tatum and overall the Celtics are just a more well-rounded team than the Mavericks, who are over-reliant on Luka Doncic.

Kyrie Irving struggled mightily in Boston, making 12 points in the first game before registering 16 in the second.

The Celtics’ impressive defence has managed to keep Irving quiet and if they can continue that, they should win this one.

PJ Washington is the only other Dallas player to have a notable series and the Mavericks desperately need someone else to stand up and be counted.

The Celtics won’t be as dominant on the road but they have still lost just two games all postseason, winning 14 in response, and look a big price to pick up another victory.

Doncic to put team on his back again

Luka Doncic has battled through injury and fatigue to star for the Dallas Mavericks throughout the play-offs.

He totalled tallies of 30 and 32 points in the first two games but returning to his home court, he is fancied to go over 32.5 points.

The Slovenian is averaging 34.2 points at home this season and can star again.

Tatum to turn provider

The fact that the Boston Celtics are more well-rounded as a team has allowed Jayson Tatum to take on a more active role in assisting his teammates, something that he has done regularly throughout the play-offs.

The 26-year-old has had 17 assists across the first two games of this series and looks a big contender to go over 5.5 assists in this game as a result.

His passing could come to the fore in Dallas.
