Swedish giant officially launches UK operation

The merger sees Sortera assume responsibility for six existing sites – Rochford, Harlow, Edmonton, Uxbridge, Tottenham and Wembley –previously owned and operated by GBN and O’Donovan’s respectively, as well as close to 400 members of staff.

The rebranded waste wagons will now become a feature on UK sites.

Sortera’s suite of services encompasses waste collection, recycling, and resource recovery.

As the company grows in the UK, it will also look to expand its offering to incorporate other services, including a complete service for the processing of water encompassing testing, analysis and treatment with specialised equipment.

Sortera said it “looks forward to forging enduring partnerships and driving positive change within the UK construction, recycling, and waste management sectors.”
