Swedish Gambling Revenue Exceeds €570 Million In First Quarter

Operators in Sweden reported a revenue growth in the first quarter of 2024 to €572.3 million.

According to the Swedish gambling authority Spelinspektionen, this is a 1% increase compared to the same period last year.

The growth is attributed to the development of the iGaming sector, accounting for 64% of the total market volume and reaching €366 million.

Online gambling sector grew by 2% in comparison to last year.

The revenue from state lotteries and slots, managed by Svenska Spel, remained unchanged at €116.3 million compared to the previous year.
