Susan Wojcicki, the former YouTube chief executive who was one of Google’s earliest employees, has died at the age of 56.
Wojcicki had been living with lung cancer for two years, her husband Dennis Troper said in a statement announcing her death.
“It is with profound sadness that I share the news of Susan Wojcicki passing,” he wrote on Facebook. “My beloved wife of 26 years and mother to our five children left us today after two years of living with non-small cell lung cancer.”
