More than six million staff plan to “work from the beach” this summer as growing numbers of people take advantage of flexible working practices.
Research has found that a third of workers are now employed at companies that have “work from anywhere” policies, which allow them to log on from overseas for at least some of the year. The study discovered that about half of these employees — the equivalent of six million people — plan to use these rights either to work while on holiday or extend their time overseas by working for part of their trip.
